Description

Nature journaling/painting workshops, group hikes planned around the intent to create new art based on nature experiences, mutual aid fundraising for the outdoors (benefiting conservation organizations, clean-up initiatives, land stewardship, and more).

Mission

CAB seeks to disrupt the art industry norms, providing free marketing and sales opportunities for BIPOC artists. Fostering spaces to gather as community, CAB celebrates life through art, earth, food, and a mission to build positive change.

Recognizing inaccessibility for most artists in markets - especially BIPOC artists - was one of the many reasons Caravan Art Bazaar was created in the first place. By joining our Collective as a Ghost Artist, CAB features and sells artwork without charging fees or taking a cut of an artists sales, so when you buy artwork at our booth 100% of that money goes to the artist.

The only exception to this is if a particular piece of art was submitted to CAB as an ART4AID piece, which aims to support mutual aid programs involved with art, community, and the great outdoors. Various works from artists help support things like Helene recovery efforts in WNC, rainforest conservation in Sumatra, cultural preservation and economic support in the Highlands of Vietnam, WNC AAPI mutual aid program, and more!
