Description

Explorations of God’s Creations (EoGC) is dedicated to empowering youth—especially those from historically marginalized and underrepresented communities—through environmental education, faith-based stewardship, and hands-on learning experiences. Our vision is to nurture a generation of young leaders who cherish creation, value community, and carry faith-driven compassion into every part of life.

We serve youth ages 9–13 from low-income, underserved, and inner-city communities in the Piedmont and Low Country regions of South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. We provide in-person programs (e.g., summer camps, hikes, fishing clinics), virtual programs (e.g., how to recycle, garden, compost), community service activities (e.g., stream clean ups), citizen science projects. Through these programs students will: 1) Build self-esteem and confidence 2) Gain STEM and environmental education 3) Connect environmental care with spiritual purpose 4) Spark interest in science and environmental careers 5) Understand how environmental choices affect financial systems 6)Create lasting relationships and positive role models 7) Serve and give back to their communities.
