RaR Austin
Description
While Austin has a thriving cycling scene, it can be difficult to find community for those who do not experience the privileges required to participate in mainstream bike culture.
We wanted to start RAR Austin to build community amongst those who do not currently see themselves included or represented. We have a team of cyclists with decades of collective cycling experience and knowledge and want to share it with others looking to get into the sport or just find a space where they feel celebrated and valued.

Mission
The Austin RAR chapter was born out of a desire to create space within the Austin cycling community by and for people of marginalized experiences, particularly BIPOC, Trans and Queer folx, disabled riders, economically disadvantaged cyclists, and their intersections
