Down2Earth
Description
We are Down2Earth, and we’re here to connect all people to the great outdoors. Georgia’s diverse landscape makes hiking in Atlanta an accessible way for our outdoorsy city folks to explore, and we’re here to share these spaces with you.
There’s a stigma in the South that outdoor activities like hiking and camping are only for a select few, but the outdoors is for everybody, including BIPOC communities, to explore and enjoy. Time outside offers powerful physical and mental benefits that often go untapped when access feels limited.
From local parks and trails to waterfalls and campgrounds, we’re here to keep exploring, learning, and reconnecting people to nature.
